Cost

There are NO costs involved in becoming an ID, however the following rules do apply:

APPLICATION PROCESS

1. Complete and submit the application form, together with a copy of your ID to sales@fortisgroup.co.za or fax it to 086 613 1808.
2. Once we have received your application form and ID copy the Independent Distributor Contract, as well as information on the TDR 1 course will be emailed to you.
3. Arrange and attend a free TDR 1 course in your area, with a minimum of 30 attendees. Our operators will facilitate the TDR 1 course. Available training dates should be confirmed with us. PLEASE NOTE – from 1 January 2012 the following rates will apply for TDR 1 courses: R200 per person attending – payable in advance. We will also charge travel costs. Travel costs will then be split between the number of attendees. Minimum of 15 attendees. We can handle 50 in TDR 1.
4. The first TDR 1 session is your first training session of +- 6 hours, where you will meet some of our staff members, and see us in action, so that you are able to make an informed decision concerning your application.
5. Upon the successful completion of the first TDR 1 course you will have the opportunity to indicate whether you want to go ahead with the application. If not, the process ends here.
6. If you decide to go ahead, you will have to arrange and attend a second free TDR 1 course in your area, with a minimum of 30 attendees. Our operators will facilitate the TDR 1 training sessions. Available training dates should be confirmed with us. Note fees as from January 2012 in paragraph 3 above.
7. Upon the successful completion of the second TDR 1 course, the ID contract will be signed by all parties and you will become a FORTIS ID with all the benefits and responsibilities attached to it.

WHAT NOW?

1. Pay the annual distributorship fee, as per the invoice emailed to you after the original signed contract is received by us. On this invoice you will see your ID account number that should be used in all correspondence with us.
2. Our year runs from Jan to Dec and the annual distributorship fee will be charged pro-rata depending on the month that you join. Annual fees are subject to change without prior notice and is payable in advance.
3. After receipt of the annual distributorship fee you will receive login and password details to enable you to shop on our FORTIS ID shopping cart at discounted rates.
4. Now you are able to order your own gun through the FORTIS ID shopping cart.
5. Sign up for our newsletter.
6. Arrange a one hour personal or skype training session with our marketing manager, Riaan Coetzee on email at sales@fortisgroup.co.za or on his cell at 076 353 9220.
7. All sales from the second free TDR 1 course will be for your account. This means that the orders will be placed directly with you and you will invoice your customers. You then place the orders on the FORTIS ID shopping cart and make an EFT payment (at discounted rates) to us.
8. This means that you are able to earn an income from the second TDR 1 course that you arrange and you receive the benefit of another +- 6 hours free training.
9. Once the stock for all the orders is ready, we will arrange to deliver same to you at your third free TDR 1 course or we can post it to you at your own cost or you can collect it from our offices.
10. After you have successfully arranged and attended three free TDR 1 courses, you may arrange your first TDR 2 course. This course is charged at different rates which will be explained at the free TDR 1 courses.
11. Bookings for the TDR 2 course are placed directly with you. We invoice you for the attendees at a discounted rate, which means you earn income on training as well.
12. You are responsible for your own record keeping, accounting, income tax etc. because you are in business for yourself.
13. Stay updated by reading our newsletters and information posted on our website.
14. To remain a FORTIS ID you have to;
1. Pay the annual fee in advance
2. Adhere to the rules and regulations set out in the ID contract
3. Adhere to any and all other rules and regulations communicated to you from time to time
4. Inform us timeously of any change in your contact details
5. Refrain from giving your ID shopping cart login and password details to anyone else
6. Arrange and attend at least two TDR 1 courses and one TDR 2 course annually
7. Attend all our TDR courses within 24 months and every 24 month-period thereafter
8. Have quarterly sales of at least R6 000 (after discount)
15. These conditions may be changed from time to time at the sole discretion of FORTIS

General

As Independent Distributor you have access to Riaan, our marketing manager, who will guide and train you in marketing and selling the Fortis concept, products and services. This is done by means of a 1 hour Skype Session or 1 hour Live Session at our offices.

You will be licensed to sell all Fortis products and services and receive a start-off 8.5% commission on the sales amount of each sale. You also receive 10% on the sales amount of any and all training booked by you.

A complete contract will be handed to you.

Fortis products and services can be sold to individuals or revenue can be increased by selling to groups such as neighbourhood watches, farm watches etc. We can also sell to security companies.

Independent Distributors are allowed to sell anywhere in SA and are allowed to sell as many items as they want. We will teach you how to promote the business in your area and surrounds and help you build a profitable business. For this reason we are looking for highly motivated people to help promote Fortis and it’s products.

We will have competitions and incentives from time to time for all Independent Distributors. Independent Distributors are not limited to specific areas, this is an Independent distributorship and treated as such. All costs are for the ID – cellphone, travelling, marketing material, own office, etc.

Extra marketing material can be ordered through HQ at reasonable prices – because we qualify for bulk discount.

Independent Distributor Integrity

You need to act with integrity at all times in representing Fortis Pro-Active Defence Solutions, and can lose your distributorship if found guilty in this regard. We cannot tolerate independent distributors who bring the good name of Fortis into disrepute in any way.

All products may only be sold within the prescribed price ranges as supplied to you by Fortis.
